Well known in the Ellwood City-Portersville area; Eric Heitzenrater began his building and remodeling career over twenty years ago by working with his father, Miles Heitzenrater, founder of Miles Homes & Improvements Co. Eric Heitzenrater learned the building trade literally from the ground up. Eric recalls, “If I didn’t do something correctly, my dad would make me tear it apart and start all over again. I quickly learned to do things right the first time!”
In its 30 plus year history, Miles Homes & Improvements Co has built over 50 custom homes, including conventionally constructed homes as well as log home designs. Eric has a keen sense of what type of home design would work best for the particular building site.
